Intro to R and Data Analysis

Introduction

This tutorial introduces users to the basics of the R programming language, commonly used for statistics and data analysis. Although familiarity with coding principles like variables and functions is helpful, it is not required. Topics covered include:

  • Basics of R

  • Basics of data analysis: importing, exploring, and manipulating data

  • Packages in R

  • Further analysis techniques for complex data

For this activity, the user is required to have R and RStudio installed, along with some packages in R. The tutorial will cover installation for all of the necessary software.
